Last Updated: August 2026

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which Dev Cascade Base Co., Ltd. (“Dev Cascade Base,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles engagement cancellations, milestone terminations, mobilization deposits, and refund requests for professional telemetry audits and analytical consulting services.

1. Engagement Nature & Commercial Basis

Dev Cascade Base provides tailored, highly specialized engineering audits, telemetry codebase inspections, and custom taxonomy blueprints. Because our services require the dedicated reservation of senior engineering personnel and immediate resource allocation upon contract signing, refunds are governed by the specific project milestone stages outlined below.

2. Cancellation Prior to Project Kickoff

2.1. Notice Period: If a Client provides written cancellation notice to info@dev-cascadebase.click more than five (5) business days prior to the agreed project kickoff date (as defined in the executed Statement of Work), the Client is eligible for a full refund of any mobilization deposit paid, less applicable bank transfer processing fees (not to exceed $150 USD).
2.2. Late Notice (Under 5 Business Days): If cancellation is requested within five (5) business days of the scheduled kickoff date, Dev Cascade Base will refund 50% of the mobilization deposit, retaining the remaining 50% to cover reserved engineering scheduling costs and preparatory repository analysis.

3. Work Already Commenced & Milestone-Based Refunds

Once formal codebase review, proxy traffic interception, or telemetry scoping has commenced (Phase 1 onwards):

3.1. Phase 1 (Intake & Repository Inspection): If an engagement is terminated during Phase 1, the 50% initial mobilization deposit is non-refundable. The Client shall have no obligation to pay the remaining 50% milestone balance.
3.2. Phase 2–3 (Proxy Testing & Discrepancy Modeling): If termination occurs after proxy capture or telemetry modeling has begun, the Client is liable for fees corresponding to the pro-rata proportion of hours completed up to the date of written notice. Any unearned portion of deposits will be refunded.
3.3. Phase 4 (Final Handover & Blueprint Delivery): Once the Multi-Surface Discrepancy Matrix, JSON Schemas, or Executive Reporting Playbooks have been delivered or presented during the technical handover session, all engagement fees become 100% non-refundable.

4. Retainers & Recurring Advisory Services

4.1. Monthly/Quarterly Telemetry Retainers: Retainer agreements may be canceled by either party with thirty (30) days advance written notice prior to the next billing cycle.
4.2. Non-Refundable Retainer Months: Retainer fees for months in which active schema reviews, staging validations, or technical office hours were already provided are non-refundable.

5. Rescheduling Policy

5.1. Notice to Reschedule: Clients may reschedule a scheduled audit kickoff date up to two (2) times without penalty, provided written notice is submitted at least three (3) business days prior to the original start date.
5.2. Client Delays / No-Shows: If a Client fails to provide repository access, staging builds, or required telemetry credentials within fourteen (14) calendar days of the agreed kickoff date without notice, Dev Cascade Base reserves the right to place the project on temporary hold and apply a rescheduling administrative fee of $250 USD upon reactivation.
